Athletics
At Cathedral, athletics is part of formation: every middle schooler is on a team.
The culture
Every middle schooler at Cathedral plays a sport. Not most; all of them. The younger grades feed in through developmental soccer and basketball, so by sixth grade, being on a team is simply what Cathedral students do.
Cathedral teams compete through the parish campus and local leagues, and the trophy cabinets in the front hallway keep the record.
