Our Community

Known, loved, and challenged.

The people who make Cathedral feel like family, and the culture they build every day.

The culture

Character is part of the curriculum.

Our students grow as leaders who serve others with compassion and purpose. Leadership coursework and schoolwide initiatives build responsibility, integrity, and confidence, and our charitable outreach programs let students live their faith by serving those in need.

The connections run across grade levels. The study buddy program pairs older students with younger ones. Student Council shapes school spirit and culture. The Student Safety Team helps carpool run safely each day, accountability and service in action.

Most of all, Cathedral is a true partner with our families: together we nurture each child’s spiritual growth, character, and academic success.

Principal Graham Witherspoon

From the principal

It is a true blessing to serve as Principal of Cathedral School.

For generations, Cathedral has been more than a school: a home rooted in faith, guided by love, and dedicated to forming the whole child, in the heart of the Triangle community.

At Cathedral School, our foundation is Christ. Through Catholic teaching and daily prayer, our students learn that love, compassion, service, and respect for one another are not just values to be taught, but values to be lived.

Whether you are a current family, alumnus, parishioner, or someone discovering Cathedral School for the first time, know that you are always welcome here.

With gratitude and blessings,

Principal Witherspoon
